Cross Street Shop Top Housing Approval

We are elated with this recent DA approval from the Sydney Eastern City Planning Panel, for a new mixed use building in Double Bay. The approval will facilitate a height of 21.5m and FSR of 3.49:1, which are 46.3% and 39.7% above the current LEP standards for the site.

The stunning design by Luigi Rosselli Architects respects the adjoining Transvaal Avenue Heritage Conservation Area. The massing provides consistency in the streetscape in terms of bulk and scale, given the site’s position next to the 7 storey massing of the Intercontinental Hotel, and the 6 storey mixed use developments on the southern side of the street. It will positively contribute to the evolving character and density along Cross Street, and the broader Double Bay Centre.
