Frequently, developers with major sites will prepare a strategy or concept plan for proposed development and test the water with council prior to formalising the Development Application. This strategic process requires a detailed site analysis and a thorough review of the relevant planning documents. Often, we prepare Pre-Application Reports and Planning Proposals for such developments, to present to Council or the Department of Planning.
We are also engaged by council to undertake strategic plans for Local Government Areas (LGA) prior to the preparation of a Local Environmental Plan. Alongside this, we have prepared a range of Development Control Plans (DCPs) for various LGAs. Examples of these types of plans and documents include:
- The Tweed 2000 Strategic Plan
- Burwood Town Centre Strategy
- Moree Town Centre Strategy
- Maitland City Wide DCP – Part E (Morpeth Heritage Conservation Area
- The Lower Hunter Urban Housing DCP
- The Parramatta Medium Density DCP
- The Marrickville Shopping Centre DCP
- The Tweed Residential DCP
- The Prince Henry DCP
- The Yatala Business Centre DCP
