GSA Planning was involved in the provision of design and development advice, and preparation of a Statement of Environmental Effects and Traffic Report, for the redevelopment of the former Vaucluse High School site. This site had approval for a seniors living development comprising self contained dwellings, car parking, landscaping and facilities for residents to maintain an active lifestyle.
In collaboration with new owners the Moran Group, architect Marchese Partners and Thinc Projects, GSA Planning worked extensively with Council to achieve an approval for a revised, state of the art design which comprised 224 residential aged care beds and services, 14 self contained units, car parking and landscaping. The key feature of this development is a central plaza, designed to promote social interaction and create a sense of inclusiveness within the Vaucluse community.
