GSA Planning has had ongoing involvement with this project comprising the redevelopment of the iconic Hotel Bondi site in Bondi Beach. Designed by Brian Meyerson Architects, the proposed development incorporates improvements and additions to the Hotel Bondi heritage building. The proposal also incorporated the demolition of the existing ice cream shop, discotheque and drive-through bottle shop and the construction of a vibrant arcade providing a pedestrian link between Campbell Parade to Gould Street and a five storey mixed use development and basement carparking.

GSA Planning provided planning advice and prepared the Statement of Environmental Effects in support of the proposed site subdivision and redevelopment. GSA Planning has also been involved in the extensive consultation process between the clients, architects and Council officers to achieve a positive design outcome which will provide a lively mix of retail and residential uses, with the arcade and refurbishment of the historic Hotel providing distinct public benefits.
