Quest Hotel, Potts Point
GSA Planning provided planning advice and prepared the Statement of Environmental Effects in support of alterations to an existing private hotel, later known as the Storrier Hotel, and now operated by Quest The proposal was to convert the existing 95 room hotel into 70 serviced apartments with new entry area. A lobby resulted in a more inviting entry area and includes a café/ lounge for the use of apartment residents and the general public.
GSA Planning later provided planning advice and prepared Statements of Environmental Effects for minor alterations and additions to the approved development. Those modifications included: a new canopy structure to the Earl Place entry; additions to the northern side fence; a retractable awning; the addition of air conditioning units; and the addition of umbrella structures and heaters on the fourth-floor balcony.
