GSA took part in the 2019 City2Surf event, running (and walking) from Hyde Park to Bondi. The race was a challenge for many, however it all paid off when crossing the finish line (and at the team BBQ and drinks afterwards, courtesy of Gary and Vicki Shiels).

​All entry proceeds from GSA were donated to a variety of national charities, including the Cancer Council, Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, and the Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Womens Shelter.
